§ What partners do
Build, deploy, customize — then get out of your way.
InkCMS partners are independent web shops who've been through our partner program — they've installed InkCMS dozens of times, know the file layout cold, can write custom Razor templates, and have already debugged the gotchas you'd otherwise discover yourself. They aren't InkCMS employees and they don't resell the license; you buy InkCMS direct from us and you pay the partner separately for their work.
Typical engagements:
- New site builds — discovery, design, content migration, custom templates, launch.
- Migrations from another CMS — WordPress, Drupal, Squarespace, custom CMSs. They handle the content extraction + reshaping into InkCMS's filesystem model.
- Theme + styling — branding, layout customization, design-system work in InkCMS's Razor + CSS layers.
- Ongoing maintenance — monthly retainers for content updates, plug-ins, feature additions.
- Training — onboarding your team to author content in the admin or via Claude Code.
After the work is done, you own everything: the install folder, the hosting account, the license, the content. The partner moves on. You can keep retaining them or take it in-house — it's your call.
